Things To Think About Before You Choose A Tree Service

So you need to hire a tree service. The best place to start in choosing a tree service is to check the phone book and the internet for tree companies that have an ISA certified arborist. Small companies like ours will be out doing work, so please leave a message. You will find a distinction between small companies and large: Large tree companies have a knowledgeable arborist who will meet with you and bid the job. A different arborist, not necessarily a certified arborist, with the work order in hand will come and do the work order. Sometimes the first person you meet will visit the job site to make sure the work is going as expected, especially if there might be room for interpretation on the work order. Many smaller tree companies have just one crew-- the owner is the certified arborist and a climber ( Like Our Company ). He will meet with you, discuss your trees, and then come and perform the work with a crew. This feature of smaller companies may be important to you along with other qualifications. When on your property we can be sensitive to your concerns and complete the work as discussed. This type of detail is hard to convey in a large Tree Services. Avoid the companies that advertise topping and those that use tree spikes for pruning. Spikes are only allowed on trees that will be completely removed.

Our Happy's crew is also trained and qualified in many areas to keep us safe such as Aerial Rescue, CPR and First Aid training. We attend Safety courses and climbing events all over the United States to better serve you and your family so you can rest assure the job is getting done right. We abide by the A.N.S.I Saftey Standards. Check out our Photo Page to see more great pictures of us in action. We are a Licensed and Insured company for your protection. If we can help you in anyway, Please don't hesitate to give us a call or email us happystree@gmail.com to set up a FREE Evaluation on all your tree care needs.

WHY HIRE A CERTIFIED ARBORIST?

Tested and approved by the International Society of Arboriculture, the Certified Arborist has the knowledge and skills to perform a variety of services in the tree care industry. Their studies include: • tree biology, • pest identification, • proper pruning techniques, • climbing how-to, • safe methods for lowering branches and heavy wood, • tree and risk assessment and more. They are required to accrue continuing education credits towards re-certification every three years. Individuals who are certified are knowledgeable in all phases of tree care. Often you will find a tree service that advertises that they have a Certified Arborist on staff. Inquire whether that individual will be working on your property or if the climbers have been trained by him or her. Having a Certified Arborist consult with you insures that you are getting expert tree advice and the best possible options for pruning or removal. Having that same person perform the work is the best guarantee that you will have tree care performed properly.
