So you need to hire a tree service. The best place to start in choosing a tree service is to check the phone book and the internet for tree companies that have an ISA certified arborist. Small companies like ours will be out doing work, so please leave a message. You will find a distinction between small companies and large: Large tree companies have a knowledgeable arborist who will meet with you and bid the job. A different arborist, not necessarily a certified arborist, with the work order in hand will come and do the work order. Sometimes the first person you meet will visit the job site to make sure the work is going as expected, especially if there might be room for interpretation on the work order. Many smaller tree companies have just one crew-- the owner is the certified arborist and a climber ( Like Our Company ). He will meet with you, discuss your trees, and then come and perform the work with a crew. This feature of smaller companies may be important to you along with other qualifications.
